Wikipedia defines a one-hit wonder as a musician, band, or creative artist known to the general public for a single, immensely popular signature work—most commonly a top-40 hit song—while the rest of their catalog or subsequent output remains largely unknown or unremembered.
Music historians often define an act strictly as an artist who places a song on the Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 just once in their career.
When the voting begins, if you don’t think a song qualifies as a one hit wonder, you can just not vote for it, or mark it with the “off theme” button. Songs that get multiple off theme clicks will be flagged and the host will decide.

Songs may be removed from consideration if they do not fit the theme, don’t generate enough interest from other musicians, or require instrumentation or arrangements beyond what we can realistically support.
